Heather Nauert

Heather Ann Nauert was born on January 27, 1970. She is an American broadcast journalist and an ex-official in the government. Heather was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State under the Donald Trump administration. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is a conservative think-tank.



 



 Before her post at the Department of State she was a Fox News correspondent and news presenter. She also served as the Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs during the Trump administration from March to October 2018. Nauert was appointed to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by Trump.
