Farrah Fawcett

  

Farrah Leni Fawcettwas born Ferrah Leni Fwcett on February 2, 1947, and died June 25 on the 25th of June, 2009. She was an American actress. Fawcett was four-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee as well as a six-time Golden Globe Award nominated actress. Her fame internationally began when she starred in the debut season of television's Charlie's Angels.



 



 Fawcett's career started in the early 1960s, when she was a guest on television commercials and guest roles. She appeared on a variety of television series in the 1970s along with Lee Majors, her husband who was a television and film actor. In its first year of printing the iconic red swimming suit poster sold six million copies. Fawcett's most memorable role was of Jill Munroe, a private investigator in Charlie's Angels. Jaclyn Smith and Kate Jackson also starred in the show. Three actresses made it to stardom on the show. Fawcett had to quit Charlie's Angels in 1976 after she was featured in the show's first season. In the following season, she was a guest star in six episodes from the show's third and fourth seasons (1978-1980). Fawcett got her first Golden Globe nomination for her performance on the show Charlie's Angels.
